Wordle and the New Zealand Curriculum

I am really enjoying playing with Wordle. It gives a different view on things, looking at a text as a word cloud. I thought I would put in the text from the New Zealand Curriculum document. So here goes...

Vision
ValuesPrinciples
Key CompetenciesI have even made a word cloud of the latest assignment I have written, which really highlighted what I was giving emphasis to in my writing.

Thanks for introducing us to this tool, Jane. It's remarkably simple to use and looks great! I can see it being well used when brainstorming, prioritising and collating ideas.

What a great tool Jane. We're all about to go back to school here in Scotland and I can already think of many uses for your link!

Thanks for sharing. I played with this today and have some ideas for use in the classroom. But how do I embed or get it into my blog? I have been unable to figure it out so far. I'm sure you're a busy busy lady but if you get a minute could you enlighten me or direct me to where I might find the information. Cheers. Cola.

Hi Cola
To embed Wordle on your blog you have to save the Wordle that you have made, you then have an embed code to paste into your blog or wikispace or website. Also if you have a mac you can just hold down shift, command and press the number 4 which will let you draw around the image to take a screen grab.
